Applying

When can I start applying?

  • Local students: each year from September to December
  • Overseas students: from now until 30 June, 2010

 

Do applications have to be submitted online?

Yes, we will only accept application submitted through our website.. We regard this as the best and most effective way for you to be considered in a timely manner.

 

Are there any specific guidelines for the application form?

  • The form must be completed in full with correct and up-to-date information.
  • You must show a positive attitude and a real interest in the business.
  • You must express yourself sufficiently and make an effort to answer all the questions properly.
  • You must hold the relevant passport/ID to work in your chosen office.

 

How is my application screened?

Your details will be viewed by KPMG recruiters. We guarantee all applications will be screened thoroughly and carefully.

 

How will KPMG get in touch with me?
After you have submitted your online application, a confirmation and thank you email will automatically be sent to you. We will mainly contact you via email or sometimes by telephone regarding the aptitude tests and interview schedule. Please ensure the email address and telephone number you provide is accurate and is one you access regularly. In some cases (for Hong Kong campus recruitment) we may contact you through your careers office.

Please note that due to some problems with certain email servers, emails from KPMG may be blocked or treated as spam. We have tested the email addresses with the following accounts and have confirmed that they can receive emails:

  • In Beijing: Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail
  • In Shanghai: Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail and 126
  • In Guangzhou/Shenzhen/Fuzhou: 163 and 126

 

There is no area for me to indicate function preference in the application form. When can I notify you of this?

You will be asked about your preferred career path later on in our selection process. In the meantime, if you are not sure which function you are interested in, try attend our Career Expo or Campus Talk to learn more, or research the different functions on our website.
